Description   Here ( Cherry)- authentic Maori Doll - Here ( Cherry) is an all porcelain modern Collectible Doll from the 20th Century British Mould ( Dollies Galore) with a New Zealand Doll Federation Gold Seal of Excellence - Modern Reproduction ( 15" tall ). Her costume lining colouring varies from Red or Black. The cloak varies in the feather colour and design. The feathers have been fumigated. The doll is boxed for distribution. Height: 15 inches/ 40cm The dolls listed on this site have all been authentically costumed and hand crafted by Jean Currie and Sheila Sullivan. Jean and Sheila are both foundation members and past Presidents of the New Zealand Doll Federation. They have been making dolls for the past twenty years. The dolls are all collectible, porcelain. The bodice, piupiu, cloak and headband are from an original design created by a former year 14 student at Whangarei Girls High School where Jean used to teach.
