The handle is made from tough double thickness cowhide suede leather. The top opening zip is also sewn to tough cowhide leather which ensures that the wool does not get caught in the teeth. The zip puller is made from twisted sheepskin which is decorative and functional. The interior of the bag has a security pocket which includes a durable zip.
