The summers here are long and hot, the winters bitterly cold but the Merino sheep continue to thrive here and have lived here for generations. They roam almost wild in the MacKenzie country, until mustered each spring in the traditional way and brought down from the hills into the yards to be shorn by local shearers. They are then returned to the hills to live as nature intended for another year. The fleece is measured using state of the art technology to guarantee 100% consistency and quality of fibre, then taken to the local town to be washed, dyed and woven into products to be enjoyed by our next generation.
