Koru pendant with paua insert - To Maori the Koru means the beginnings of life- the unfurling fern frond. It leads to good health and prosperity.

The pendant is carved on both sides and is beautifully decorated with a piece of the iridescent shell, paua, which is only found around the coast of New Zealand. Paua is highly prized by Maori. The pendant is hung on a polyester cord that can be adjusted.
