Kelcey Chandler-Yates

View our range of New Zealand made Kelcey Chandler-Yates products.

Inspired by the sea that surrounds her, Kelcey brings to life the essence of the underwater world captured in the art form of fused glass,

Living on her catamaran 'Lady Starlight' with her husband and two teenage sons for five years, has brought her to an understanding and appreciation for the unique color combinations of this extraordinary ecosystem she strives to preserve. Each piece reflects the iridescent colors of the coral and fish that she spent over 25 years capturing on film. Having degrees in both Art and Biology has helped Kelcey transform these images into wearable pieces of art that are everlasting. Her jewelry made of silica and dichroic glass is as unique as the environment she lives in. Shimmering reds, oranges, yellows and blues of the tropical reef fish, the sparkle of crystal and deep blues inspired by the endless night sky and the vivid greens of the spectacular islands of her home in New Zealand. Her delicate awareness and a state of being one with her subjects, makes her a true artist transcending her own perceptions to bring you the magic of other dimensions.
